My Story

Poppy and Ella-Mai are taking part in the Willen Hospice Mini Moo Scooterthon on Sunday 19th May.

Our "Old Grandad" went to be the brightest star in the sky on February 3rd this year.  It was always his wish not to go into hospital and our grandma and our mummy's cared for him at home towards the end of his life to make this possible.

In the last couple of days of his life Willen at Home came to visit him, thery ensured that he was pain free and peaceful, this allowed us to be able to sit with him and tell him how much we loved him and sing him songs without being scared.   Patient and Family Services have also given us books that we can look at to help us understand why "Old Grandad" had to leave us.

Please help us raise funds so WIllen can continue to support other families too.
