About

Willen Hospice is the only adult hospice in Milton Keynes, run by local people, for local people – delivering calm, compassionate care to patients who are coming to the end of their lives. They help patients and their loved ones to make the most of their time left together. Willen Hospice relies on donations and charitable giving to keep providing these amazing services and like so many charities it has been hard hit by Covid.

The Midnight Moo is their biggest fundraising events of the year, a 10 mile walk around Milton Keynes at night, on the 15th July.

Our little PT family has formed Soulful Moovers to complete the walk and raise money for this wonderful charity.

Clare, EmilyF, EmilyW, Freya, Heather, Helen, Jen, Jonna, Lorraine, Lucy and Suzanne all have their own reasons for participating in this great event – you’ve probably found this page from a link they have shared with their story. Whether they’ve lost friends and family who have benefitted from Willen Hospice’s care, or another hospice’s care or know someone whose family has… it is a wonderful cause and if you can support us we would be ever so grateful.

Our fundraising target is £1000, but come on, please help us smash that and support Willen Hospice and the fantastic work they do.

Fundraising through events like the Midnight Moo helps Willen Hospice to continue to care for local people and their families who are living with life-limiting illnesses. This charity has a very special place in the hearts of people in MK and surrounding area. At the toughest time of their lives, they do everything they can so people feel relief from pain and families can enjoy the precious moments they have left together. While we can't change their patients' diagnosis, they can help improve their quality of life, as they come to terms with their illness. Their highly skilled professional team provide the best quality and heartfelt care - and it's all free to everyone who needs them. They can only do this because of the support of people like me and you.
