My Story
This year, because of the Coronavirus, Willen Hospice's annual 10 mile Midnight Moo Walk can't go ahead. Instead there's the 'All New' Moo that's during the day and in small groups. Events fundraising has been severely affected this year, but caring for Hospice patients MUST go on. This year, more than ever Willen really need our help.
The team at Willen do everything they can to help patients feel relief from pain and to help families enjoy the precious time they have left together. Whilst they can't change a patient's diagnosis, Willen can help improve their quality of life, as they come to terms with their illness. Their highly skilled professional team provide the best quality and heartfelt care - and it's all free to everyone who needs them, but they can only do this because of the support from people like us.
This will be my fifth Moo for Willen and raised a lot for them by doing this event, and I've already started training, and got a route in mind, but have gone off track 3 times with it already! It's a great way to find some lovely walks around Milton Keynes. I will pimp me and my wheelchair in full 1920's style and aim to finish at the Hospice, and ultimately raise vital funds for this wonderfully, caring Hospice.
Thank you so much for your kind support and donations, Jo ♿️
